Consumerism produces profits that create wealth towards the top of the pyramid…”Alimenta la piramide” feed it..feed it…feed it… Instigated by the media, shoppers buy stuff they do not need with money they do not have.. because the more they have, the happier they will become !!!. Bankers take the most out of this scheme as they simply inject fiat currency at interest from money created out of thin air … the rest (peasants/consumers) must produce real value goods in order to pay back their loans. The wealth distribution unbalance coming out of this scheme becomes self-explanatory. Infinite greed from the top drives unlimited thirst for the finite resources of the planet, creating human misery and ecological disasters on its way.…. and all of this, because money is good and I want more !!!!
