Clemente Diaz

 

Maestro Clemente Díaz was born in Cali, Colombia, on August 5, 1938. Maestro Díaz received his early education with Professor Alfonso Valdiri Vanegas at the Conservatorio Antonio María Valencia in Cali.  Maestro Díaz spent 20 years in Europe, studying with Regino Sainz de la Maza, Antonio Moreno, Antonio Company, and Nicolás Alfonso. After returning to his homeland,  He  taught at Conservatorio Antonio María Valencia, Universitad Nacional de Colombia, and the Pedagógica Nacional in Bogotá.
